Oil Pulling

This is an ancient way believed to pull out all toxins out not just from the mouth but from the entire body. It has been used for over centuries for dental care and curing dental diseases. The process involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in the mouth for 20 minutes. Any vegetable-based oil can be used for this, but coconut oil is preferred because of its high antibacterial properties. Oil pulling needs to be done the first in the morning on an empty stomach.

Take a tablespoon oil of your preference and swish it in your mouth while you choose you to check your emails or choose the OOTD. It is very important that you do not swallow this as it contains the toxins pulled out of the body. The contents will almost double to its initial amount because of all the saliva and the toxins, making the process more difficult but when becomes unmanageable, it should be spit to prevent mistaken swallowing. After 20 minutes, spit the oil and rinse off your mouth with lukewarm salt water, followed by brushing as usual.
